The Italian Undersecretary of Cultural Heritage, Ilaria Carla Anna Dell’Acqua Borletti in Buitoni, took a strong stance against Italian cuisine in the weekly Italian magazine Panorama by stating that:




“in Italy one hasn’t been able to eat well for a long time, unfortunately. We are trying to do what’s trendy, what’s French, moving away from our idea of cuisine.”
