Monica Bellucci, the Italian actress, will play Lucia Sciarra in the next James Bond’s movie. The 24th movie will be titled Spectre, after the global terrorist organisation introduced by Ian Fleming in his novel Thunderball. As Monica said, ’James Bond is our fantasy - the ideal man. The man is a protector, he is dangerous, mysterious and sexy, and a perfect English gentleman.” However she is not the first Italian actress playing as a James Bond’s girl. Once defined a Bond girl as a love interest or flirtation of Bonds, at least three other Italian women played such role.
