Sophia Loren, the Star of Comacchio

Sixty years after the launch of Mario Soldati’s movie, Il Delta del Po, the town of Comacchio pays tribute to its star, Sophia Loren, with an exhibition that takes the opportunity for a journey through time and the territory. The exhibition, held at Palazzo Bellini, brings together a selection of images - including stills and backstage shots of the locations as they appear today, posters and original never exhibited before - together with the voices of those who witnessed the shooting, the movie, and the stars. The exhibition, curated by Stefania and Andrea Marconi Samaritans, is promoted by the Culture and Tourism of the Municipality of Comacchio, in collaboration with the Board of Management for the Parks and Biodiversity - Po Delta. To organize Open Group and Articolture , a Bologna-cultural planning, in collaboration with Ferrara Film Commission, the association A Crack in time and with the contribution of Carife. The exhibition will go on until November.
